Skiffs Bill Bridge Memorial Race

"For something different the start was on a reach. BAMM got the jump off the line just in front of BGN. ESP were in a big gust and about to roll over the top when they dug the nose in and got reacquainted with the river. The newest old boat to the fleet River Rats missed the start but we're able to catch up to team ESP but a broken halyard on the first downwind ended their day. From there BAMM were able to hold on for a comfortable victory (Jack Anderson's first win in a 16), Geoff and the BGN crew came in 2nd with ESP coming home in 3rd.

We'll done to Arno, Anthony and Keith for a solid first effort after Arno and Keith have had a few years away from the 16s. It was a tough day but lads of fun. Hopefully we'll get a similar breeze for the Qld sprints in a few weeks time."
