Aims of the Club 
 

In an increasingly fast paced and technology driven society, our club offers a place where people come together to :-

 

  • Participate in a healthy pastime based in an outdoor environment
  • Enjoy the challenge of river based sailing that caters for a wide cross section of sailing craft, abilities and people
  • Experience social interaction and companionship that develops life long friendships
Our Five Year Direction
 

Building on our current strong base, our four major areas of focus for developing the club over the next five years will be :-

 

1.      Further improving the physical and visual amenity of the club and its facilities

2.      Achieving a further increases in fleet sizes, including the introduction of a class that caters for sailors looking for a small to medium size keel boat option

3.      Establishment of an accredited youth training facility to attract young people into sailing

4.      To undertake required maintenance of the existing assets of the club so that they are protected for the future

Volunteers Wanted

If you or anyone you know would like to help out at the club during race days in the 2018-19 sailing season please feel free to contact us via email (info@bss.org.au). We have a range of volunteering roles available including rescue boat duty, race starter & finisher and kitchen hand.
